Israeli Heritage Minister Amichay Eliyahu termed the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh as the “right way to clean filth from the world” and stated that Haniyeh’s death made the “world a little better.”
Eliyahu took to ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) to comment on Haniyeh’s assassination, saying, “This is the right way to clean the world from this filth. No more imaginary ‘peace’/surrender agreements, no more mercy for these mortals.”
“The iron hand that will strike them is the one that will bring peace and a little comfort and strengthen our ability to live in peace with those who desire peace. Haniyeh’s death makes the world a little better,” he added.

Hamas said political leader, Ismail Haniyeh, was killed in an Israeli strike in Iran, where he had been attending the inauguration of the country’s new president on Wednesday.
Haniyeh’s killing came after Israel on Tuesday struck a Hezbollah stronghold in southern Beirut, killing a senior commander of the Iran-backed group it said was responsible for a weekend rocket attack on the Israel-annexed Golan Heights.
