On The Way To Daughter's College, Indian-Origin Family Killed In Car Crash In US
Arvind and Pradeepa were taking their daughter to college in North Texas when their journey ended in a tragic accident.

Three members of an Indian-origin family died in a car crash crash in Texas, USA. The couple and their daughter met a fatal accident on their way to the University of Dallas in north Texas.

The accident occurred around 5:45 AM on Wednesday near Lampass County, reported the local media.

The victims, residents of Leander, were identified as Arvind Mani (45) his wife Pradeepa Arvind (40) and their 17-year-old daughter Andril Arvind.

Arvind and Pradeepa were on their way to North Texas, driving their daughter to college. Andril had recently passed high school and was set to attend the University of Dallas, where she planned to study computer science.

Arvind and Pradeepa’s son, Adiryan, was not in the car at the time of the crash and is now the only surviving member of the family. A GoFundMecampaign has been launched to support the grieving boy, raising over 81,000 USD so far.

According to the media reports, the crash claimed five lives in total including the the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash. The family’s car caught fire as it collided with the other vehicle.

A police official told local media that it was the worst crash he had seen in his 26-year career. Describing the magnitude of the crash, he said there was no chance of survival.
