Roman Reigns Teaches The Bloodline a Lesson on His Dramatic SmackDown Comeback
Roman Reigns made his triumphant return to SmackDown, tearing apart The Bloodline but was unsuccessful in taking back his Ula Fala.

Roman Reigns, the ‘OG Tribal Chief’, lit up the show on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown on August 9. The former WWE Undisputed Champion made a sudden appearance at the last Premier Live Event (PLE), SummerSlam a few days back. He came out of the tunnel amid loud cheers when a title match between Cody Rhodes and the current Bloodline chief, Solo Sikoa, was underway. Reigns took down Sikoa with a Superman Punch before engaging in a fierce stare-down with Rhodes, who dethroned him at the last WrestleMania event earlier in April.

Following his dramatic entry at SummerSlam, fans were expecting to see Roman Reigns back on the main roster. The speculations turned true when a pop and modified version of his theme song started playing on the recent SmackDown show.

The Bloodline members, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, were looking for Reigns but couldn’t locate him. The 39-year-old finally appeared at the ringside during the main event segment. Tonga and Loa tried to stop Reigns but got thrashed by him.

Solo Sikoa, wearing the iconic Ula Fala, was addressing the crowd at that moment. He challenged the ex-Bloodline leader to a singles fight and made it clear that Reigns would need to earn his position back as the Tribal Chief.

Reigns put no heed to the warning and went on to smash Tonga Loa onto the steel steps. Reigns then shifted his focus to Sikoa, who was protected by his teammates. Tama Tonga also came outside but was immediately knocked down.

Roman Reigns stepped into the ring and launched a brutal Superman Punch on Solo Sikoa. He was preparing a spear but the Tongans pulled Sikoa outside at the right time. Roman Reigns then picked up the Uala Fala, perhaps making his intention clear about the comeback. Tonga and Loa somehow reclaimed the coveted garland and handed it to Sikoa- the self-proclaimed Bloodline chief.

In a backstage segment before the show, Nick Aldis confirmed that Roman Reigns would have an opportunity to recapture the WWE Undisputed Championship in the near future. Reigns helped Cody Rhodes beat Solo Sikoa at the SummerSlam to retain the title. After the SmackDown episode went off-air, Aldis, however, revealed that Rhodes would face Kevin Owens at Bash in Berlin on August 31.
