The Hanoi-based low-cost airline VietJet has been spreading its network on international routes. The Vietnamese carrier has now launched direct flight services on the Ho Chi Minh City – Tiruchi route, providing a seamless travel expirence to the passengers without spending a bomb.
Interested flyers now can book flight tickets for Ho Chi Minh City – Tiruchi route through the company’s official website. The same also can be booked via any third party portals.
VietJet Flight Services on Tiruchi-Ho Chi Minh City Route
As per the details shared by the airline, the flight on the above-mentioned route will be operated thrice a week. It also has been informed that flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Tiruchi will provide the service on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. While return flight will be operated from Tiruchi on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, that too in the early hours.
First Flight on Tiruchi-Ho Chi Minh City Route
The VietJet operated its first flight from Chi Minh City to Tiruchi on November 2, which landed at the Tiruchirappalli International Airport at 11.30 p.m. After making the successful landing at the airport, all the passengers on board were greeted by the officials. Later, the flight took off from the Tiruchi Internation for Ho Chi Minh City the next day, and reached its destination at 12.30 a.m.
Total Passengers on Board
It has been reported by the VietJet official that the flight was carrying more than 99 passengers on board, where first-time flyers had a comfortable traveling expirence on the above-mentioned route.
Top Airlines Serve on Route
Meanwhile, VietJet has become the seventh international carrier to serve on this route. Apart from VietJet, top international airlines including AirAsia, Sri Lankan Airlines, Scoot, Malindo Air, Air India Express and IndiGo, already have been operating flight services at Tiruchi International Airport, and connecting to multiple overseas destinations.
