New Delhi: Six bookies have been arrested in Goa, based on the information from the Delhi Police in the ongoing IPL spot-fixing case. These bookies are likely to brought to Delhi.

Police sources say that the Delhi Police special cell is looking for one fixer who could be crucial in the arrest of more players. A Delhi Police team had been camping in Kolkata to apprehend him but is yet to come up with anything substantial.

Delhi Police sources say they still have four IPL players under surveillance and are looking for evidence. The fixer could lead to a major breakthrough and result in more arrests.

The Delhi Police teams are also camping in Chennai and Hyderabad to follow the movements of certain players and tracking their phones. They are also following the movements of certain bookies. More bookies could be arrested in the next few days.

The police are also strengthening their case against arrested cricketers S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan and the other fixers. The total number of people in the custody of the Delhi Police is 19.
