Jharkhand Selection Staff Commission Invites Applications To Fill 864 Vacancies
Applications are invited for a total of 864 positions. There are 836 for junior clerks (Regular), 27 posts for stenographers and 1 for junior clerks (Backlog).

The Jharkhand Selection Staff Commission has announced a recruitment drive for over 800 various positions of Junior clerk, stenographer and junior clerk backlog.

The official information has been released on the website. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of the Jharkhand Selection Staff Commission, jssc.nic.in.

Applications are invited for a total of 864 positions. There are 836 for junior clerks (Regular), 27 posts for stenographers and 1 for junior clerks (Backlog). The age limit for the candidates applying for this recruitment in Jharkhand is 35 years. Age relaxation is given for reserved candidates.

To apply for these posts, the candidates must check if they are eligible or not. There are some criteria for applying for the post of junior clerk. The candidates must have passed 12th from a recognised board. Additionally, they are required to demonstrate a typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi.

For stenographers, it is mandatory to be 12th pass. They must be proficient in stenography at a speed of 80 words per minute and Hindi typing at 30 words per minute.

The application fee has been set at Rs 100 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and Rs 50 for SC, ST, and PH candidates. The candidates must complete the registration process first. Following this, they need to fill in all the required details and then submit the application fee. Selection for these positions will be based on a written exam, skill test, and document verification.

In the last four and a half years, the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has appointed only 10,041 people. Meanwhile, more than 44,000 appointments are still in process. Additionally, 1,033 people have been appointed under the JPSC, while the process is ongoing for more than 16,000 posts.

Overall, in four and a half years, a total of 11,074 people have secured government jobs, with over 59,000 positions still in the process of being filled. Many of these have been examined, while the examination for several departments is still pending.
