MP Class 10 Student Fails To Reach Exam Centre On-time Due To Waterlogged Road
He cried a lot and repeatedly requested the staff members to allow him to write the exam.

The Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh (MPBoSE) started the Class 10 exams on February 5. An unfortunate incident from these examinations has come to light from Sheopur, Northern Madhya Pradesh. According to News 18, in Sheopur, a student named Ankesh Kevat reached his exam centre, that is Higher Secondary School of Beerpur Tehsil headquarters, late. He had to attempt his class 10th Hindi board exam. The location of the exam centre was 8 kilometres far from his native village, Nitanwas. He had to cover this distance with the help of his cycle. Ankesh couldn’t reach the examination hall on time as the path in front of his house was replete with mud. It happened due to the rainfall on February 4. Due to this reason, Ankesh faced a delay in reaching the examination centre and couldn’t reach the intended time – 8:30 am. It was half an hour (09:00 am). Ankesh was not allowed to enter the examination centre. He cried a lot and repeatedly requested the examination centre-in-charge and the other staff members to allow him to write the exam. No one, however, paid any heed to his requests. Everyone refused the child’s request to attempt the examination by citing the prescribed regulations. Ankesh returned home after the police officials and the locals convinced him.

In case a student is late by 15 minutes, he can be granted admission from 8:40 to 8:45. Ankesh, however, reached the examination centre at 9. Therefore, the examination centre in charge did not allow him to enter.

Besides this rule, there are some other rules as well for the candidates, who are writing the class 10 board exam.

1. Electronic devices will not be allowed inside the MP board exam hall.

2. Students will be allowed to carry stationery items including a pen, pencil, and blue or black ink pen.

3. Students will have to carry the MP board 2024 hall ticket mandatorily to the exam centre.

4. To avoid the last-minute rush, the students are requested to arrive at the examination centre 30 minutes before the stipulated time.
