NLSAT: Exam Pattern
Every admissions test will have a single-question paper with two sections, Parts A and B. It will be mandatory for all candidates to attempt both sections of the exam. The NLSAT-International exam will be held online on April 18 and 19, 2024 and the exam shall be for 120 minutes.
A new rank list will be created based on the combined performance in Parts A and B. To be eligible for the interview, a candidate must have scored more than zero in Part B of the paper. Candidates will be invited for interviews in a 1:3 ratio based on their position on this ranking list. That is, three candidates for each available seat will be evaluated for Part B of the examination. The interview will have a maximum score of 25.
The final rank list will be created by adding the marks earned in Parts A, B, and the interview. To be considered for admission, candidates must achieve a cumulative score of 70 per cent or higher (sum of Parts A, Part B, and the interview).
