The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will close the registration window for WBJEE 2024 mop-up round counselling today, August 7, 2024. Candidates who are willing to participate in the mop-up round can complete the counselling registration online at the official website: wbjeeb.nic.in. The board will announce the seat allotment result for the WBJEE counselling 2024 mop-up round on August 9, 2024 based on the options given by the candidates. Students who have allotted their seats in the mop-up round can report to the colleges for admissions from August 9 to 12, 2024.

WBJEE 2024 Counselling: Steps to apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of WBJEE: wbjeeb.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the mop-up round registration and choice-filling link

Step 3: Click on “New Candidate Registration” option to register through WBJEE or JEE Main

Step 4: Login using the roll number and password

Step 5: Complete the registration process and enter the choices for allotment

Step 6: Save the choices and submit the requisite fee

Step 7: Click on the final submission link

Step 8: Take a printout/screenshot of it for future reference

WBJEE 2024 Counselling: Documents required

Candidates must carry these documents during their time for admission.

–– WBJEE provisional allotment letter

–– Confirmation page of WBJEE 2024

–– Class 10 admit card

–– Class 10 marksheet for English subject mark verification

–– Caste certificate (for reserved candidates)

–– Physically challenged certificate for PwD category candidates

–– Income certificate (if applicable)

–– Domicile certificate (if applicable)

–– JEE Main 2024 result (if applicable)

–– ‘Yes upgradation’ or ‘no upgradation’ option form

Both previously registered and new candidates are eligible to apply in the mop-up round. Previously registered candidates need to pay a registration fee of Rs 200 while the new candidates with a valid JEE or WBJEE 2024 score, needs to pay a fee of Rs 1,000. Candidates who are receiving a fresh allotment in the mop-up round has to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 5,000 and download their allotment letter.

The WBJEE mop-up round is an additional counselling round conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) to fill any remaining vacant seats in engineering and technology courses after the initial rounds of counselling. This round provides another opportunity for eligible candidates to secure a seat in participating institutions. This round helps ensure that all available seats are utilized, benefiting both institutions and students.
