Why You're Getting This Notification
When you start typing on your watch, you'll get an iPhone notification. This notification will ask if you want to type on your iPhone instead of the Apple Watch, as it's much easier to use the iPhone keyboard than the keyboard on your watch. However, some users state that they're getting this notification even when they're not using their Apple Watch. Ways to Fix Constant Keyboard Notifications
Close any open applications on your watch. If you started typing into an Apple Watch application then stopped, your watch may continue to send keyboard notifications to your iPhone. Try closing any open applications on your watch to see if it fixes the issue. To close an app on your watch, double-press the Digital Crown, then use the Digital Crown to scroll through your apps. Once you find the app(s) you want to close, swipe left on them and tap the "x" button.
Type something on your iPhone keyboard. First, tap on the notification to open your iPhone keyboard. Then, type something. Try to keep it something short and appropriate like "hi" or "test", as it may not be clear as to where you're typing. Once you finish typing, check to see if the notification comes back.
Restart your Apple Watch. Restarting your Apple Watch will refresh many settings and connections, and it might help fix the keyboard notification if it's happening because of a bug or glitch. To turn off your Apple Watch, press and hold the side button. Once the sliders appear, tap the power button and swipe right on the Power Off slider. Then, hold down the side button until the Apple logo appears to turn the watch back on.
Reset your Apple Watch. If nothing else works, try factory resetting your Apple Watch. Note that this will erase all of the data and settings on your Apple Watch. Hold your Apple Watch and iPhone close to one another, then open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Navigate to My Watch > All Watches. Tap the info button next to the watch you want to reset. The info button has an icon of an "i" in a circle. Tap Unpair Apple Watch > Unpair [watch name]. If you have a GPS + Cellular model Apple Watch, select to keep your plan when prompted. Enter your Apple ID password to disable the Activation Lock. Tap Unpair to complete the unpairing process, which will erase your Apple Watch. Once it's been erased, you can set it up again. According to Gonzalo Martinez, computer and phone repair specialist, setting up an Apple Watch is simple because the watch does most of the work for you. Simply tap on the pair button to get started. "It's a pretty simple walkthrough after that," Martinez said.
