How to Use Filters on FaceTime on iPhone or iPad
This wikiHow teaches you how to use face-changing filters in FaceTime when you’re using an iPhone. You’ll need to have an iPhone 7 or later to use these filters.
Steps

Get on a FaceTime video call. If you’re new to FaceTime, see this wikiHow to learn how to place or answer a video call. Camera effects are only available on the iPhone 7 or later running at least iOS 12.

Tap the screen while you’re on the call. Some icons will appear at the bottom.

Tap the Effects icon. It’s the star at the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Tap the Filters icon. It’s the three circles (pink, green, and blue) at the bottom of the screen. You’ll see a preview of each filter at the bottom of the screen.

Tap a filter. Swipe left across the options to browse, then tap one to apply it to your face in the call. The filter will appear immediately. The filter will stay active until you turn it off. To turn it off, return to the filter options and select Original (it’s at the beginning of the list).

What's your reaction?
