BANGALORE: The sleuths of the fraud and misappropriation squad of the Central Crime Branch arrested two persons who allegedly sold household and commercial LPG cylinders in black market for exorbitant prices.The accused have been identified as Ramamurthy (49) of Kakattinagar and Srinivas (30) of Bhuvaneshwarinagar in Katriguppe.According to the police, they got a tip off that the accused persons allegedly stored cylinders illegally near Abbaiah Naidu Studio in Kakariyanagar in Banashankari third stage and sold them in black market at high prices. Based on that, the police raided the house and found that they did not have any documents related to the cylinders. The duo were then arrested. The police have recovered 132 cylinders, a lorry, a Maruti Omni, two mobile phones and cash, all worth about `17 lakh, from the accused.A case is registered in Subramanyapura police station in this connection and further investigation are on.
