2 run over by trains while crossing tracks

HYDERABAD: Two persons died after being hit by trains while crossing railway tracks in two different places in Hyderabad on Wednesday.While railway police identified one person as an employee of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, another victim, a 50-year-old woman is yet to be identified. Railway police sub-inspector Rama Rao said at around 1 p.m on Wednesday, 36-year-old K Balakrishna, who is a field officer in the GHMC, was crossing the tracks near the Uppuguda railway station, when a passenger train hit him.He is survived by his wife, daughter and son. In another incident, a 50-year-old unidentified woman died after being hit by a MMTS train between Fathenagar and Necklace Road.The deceased was injured critically and her body broken into small pieces.Police are yet to ascertain her details.Railway police registered cases and investigation is on.
