New Delhi: Aishwarya Rai has certainly become the ideal Indian bahu (daughter-in-law). She has decided to change her name to Aishwarya Bachchan after marriage.
Numerologists, according to a leading Mumbai daily, on their part have loads of advise for Bollywood's newest bride.
Niraj Mancchanda feels that Ash should only go with 'Aishwarya Bachchan' for the name comes to number 46, which equals 1 (4+6 = 1). This would be an ideal match with the former Miss World's birthday date which falls on November 1.
Niraj Mancchanda told the daily, "Not only Aishwarya Rai, but any girl in the world who continues to write her maiden name before the husband's surname will always give more priority to her maiden family and the importance to the husband's family will be secondary after marriage."
He said the only way one could give more importance to the husband's family was if the maiden surname was dropped.
"As Aishwarya has decided to use the Bachchan name, she will value the Bachchan family," he concluded.
However, other numerologists such as Sanjay Jumani and Anupam Kapil suggested Aishwarya Rai Bachchan so that she uses number 5, which is lucky (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan comes to number 50 and 5+0 = 5).
The debate over Bollywood's first family's daughter in law's name started soon after the marriage.
While Ash herself made it clear that she wanted to take on the Bachchan name, after she signed her first autograph as Aishwarya Bachchan outside Tirupati temple, the numerologists and the scores of fans are still ready to dole out advise.
