Bhagavatha Thatva Sameeksha Satram

KOCHI: The fourth Srimad Bhagavatha Thathwa Sameeksha Satram will begin at the Kadavanthra Vinayaka Kalyana Mantapam on Sunday.The Satram inauguration, to be held at 3 pm, will be followed by the recital of Sreemad Bhagavatha Mahatmyam. The discourse on the Mahatmyam will be delivered by Bhagavatha scholar Vaidyalinga Sharma.Sreemad Bhagavatham Sanskrit Moolam will be recited from 6.30 am to 9 am, 11 am to 11.30 am and 2 pm to 3.45 pm everyday during the Satram from Monday. The discourses will be delivered by Bhagavatha scholars from 9.30 am to 11 am, 11.30 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 6.30 pm. The subject of the discourses will be based on Cantos 4 to 7 of Srimad Bhagavatham.The Satram, organised by the Elamkulam Gnana Yagna Samiti, will conclude on July 24 with Samarpanam. Palakkad Chinmaya Mission chief Swami Asheshananda Saraswathy is the chief Acharya of the Satram.
