A businessman has been arrested for allegedly eve-teasing a woman co-passenger while travelling in Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express.
The cloth merchant from West Bengal Pavan Kumar (38) allegedly misbehaved with the woman, a sales officer in Bareilly, while they were travelling in the same compartment of the train, Deputy Superintendent of Railway Police Surendra Tiwari said.
The woman raised an alarm and reported the matter to the coach conductor.
When the train reached Kanpur, the coach conductor informed the Railway police and the woman lodged a written complaint against Kumar following which he was arrested, Tiwari said.
