Court allows cops to handcuff Viqar

HYDERABAD: A local court on Friday issued orders asking police to handcuff terror suspect Viqaruddin Ahmed alias Viqar and two of his associates while they were brought to the court for trial.The First Additional Metropolitan Sessions judge issued directions following a petition moved by police. In the petition, police said Viqar and his associates assaulted police while shifting them to the court from central prison in Warangal.Vicar and his associates had attacked officials of Cherlapally prison where they were lodged previously. Hearing the arguments, the judge allowed the petition and directed police to handcuff Viqar and his two associates while producing them in court and taking them back to Warangal prison.
