This distinctive program, initiated by the Music Therapy Cell and Research Center within the institute’s Psychology Department, aims to equip students with skills to address mental stress through music.

Registration for the program opens on July 10, 2024, and interested candidates can find detailed information and apply through the university’s website at mgkvpadmission.samarth.edu.in.
Dr Durgesh further stated that the course welcomes students from various backgrounds including psychology, music, medical, and health fields. The curriculum will focus on utilising music as a therapeutic tool to address mental health issues prevalent in today’s society.
The Music Therapy Cell has dedicated facilities for practical training, featuring two specialised rooms. One room is equipped with a variety of musical instruments, while the other is set up with a museum system to facilitate learning about the nuances of music therapy.
