Ex-DMK minister moves to High Court

CHENNAI: Former DMK minister KPP Samy has moved the High Court for a direction to the government and the police to ensure the fundamental rights of his and his family members in having their peaceful living as guaranteed under the Constitution.His interim prayer was to restrain the police, and AIADMK MLA K Kuppan, from foisting cases against him and his brother KP Shankar.And Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar, before whom the writ petition came up for hearing on Friday, ordered notice returnable by a week.
