Fresh summons to Pondy Education Minister

PUDUCHERRY: Education minister P M L Kalyanasundaram was on Sunday issued a fresh summons by the Villupuram crime branch over the impersonation case against him. Kalyanasundaram was asked to appear for inquiry at Villupuram crime branch before noon on October 18. The second summons, addressed to the Speaker, was handed over to Assembly secretary Sivaprakasm on Saturday. After the minister moved court seeking an anticipatory bail in the case, the Madras High Court ordered the police not to arrest him till October 21. When the first summons was issued on October 9, speaker V Sabapathy told the crime branch sleuths that it could not be served to Kalyanasundaram.
