Government to hold written test for VRO posts

HYDERABAD: The state government on Monday modified the schedule for recruitment of village revenue officers (VROs) and village revenue assistants to make changes in the recruitment process.It has decided to conduct written examination for VRO and VRA posts and scrap the interviews. The government plans to recruit as many as 1,172 VRO and 6,063 VRA posts. Speaking to reporters here,revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy said the new guidelines for recruitment would be announced on November 30.
