Los Angeles: Here's another gift for all the Harry Potter fans as its spinoff trilogy 'Fantastic Beasts' has finally got a release date for its first instalment, 'Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them'. According to The Huffington Post, the movie is slated to be released on November 18, 2016.
'Fantastic Beasts' would neither be a sequel nor a prequel to the Harry Potter series; rather the new series will focus on Newt Scamander and will start in New York 70 years before Harry's story.
Author JK Rowling wrote the 54-page book in 2001 between publication of the fourth and fifth Potter books. The cast of 'Fantastic Beasts' has not yet been finalised.
