I-T officials detain managing director of Radisson group of hotels in Hyderabad. His son and CA held.
New Delhi/Hyderabad: The managing director of Radisson group of hotels was detained by Income Tax officials after he was found carrying Rs 2.8 crore in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Ramesh Kumar, his son and a Bhubaneswar-based chartered accountant were detained at the Begumpet airport.
An amount of Rs 50 lakh allegedly linked to Kumar has also been seized, said the Director General of Income Tax, Investigations, M Ahmed. This money was found in a room of Hotel Manohar, a subsidiary of Radisson.
