Maharashtra Congress said it would despatch 20 fibre and motor boats by air on Tuesday to help the rescue operations.
Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan on Monday announced an aid of Rs 10 crore from the chief minister's relief fund for the rescue and relief of Jammu and Kashmir flood victims.
"Chavan has announced an aid of Rs 10 crore from CM relief fund to the flood victims," a statement from chief minister's office said.
Welcoming Chavan's decision, Maharashtra Congress said it would despatch 20 fibre and motor boats by air on Tuesday to help the rescue operations.
