Moderate rain likely in next three days

HYDERABAD: Incessant rainfall is likely to occur in many places of coastal Andhra while Telangana and Rayalaseema regions would experience moderate rainfall in the next three days, meteorological department officials said.The weather is favourable for farmers to initiate paddy cultivation in the kharif season.According to MeT officials, the downpour is due to the formation of an upper air circulation over the west central Bay of Bengal near Visakhapatnam coast which is likely to intensify further. Moderate to heavy rains lashed many places such as Paderu, Parvathipuram, Narsipatnam Tuni in North Andhra region.Khanapur and Sirpur in Adilabad district, Allagadda in Rayalaseema received 4 cm rainfall each.
