MP lambasts Deve Gowda

MYSORE: MP A H Vishwanath chastised former prime minister H D Deve Gowda for allegedly threatening Lokayukta ADGP Jeevan Kumar V Gaonkar who was probing the disproportionate assets case against his son, former KAS officer Balakrishne Gowda. He also criticised former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and state BJP president K S Eshwarappa for demanding the closure of Lokayukta. “It is institutions like the CBI and Lokayukta that ensured that corrupt leaders like B S Yeddyurappa, Katta Subrahmanya Naidu, A Raja and Kanimozhi were put to jail. Such statements insult the people of the state. They also demoralise the officers who are working to ensure justice,” he said.
