New Delhi: His hand was bleeding after being hit by a bullet, but that did not desist Naik Rishi from launching a retaliatory strike on the terrorists who attacked the Kupwara Army camp on Thursday.
The brave soldier, who neutralised two terrorists single-handedly, took position and fired at the third terrorist who was trying to escape the spot.

Soon, Rishi ran out of ammunition. He then picked up a rifle of one of the slain militants and fought valiantly to protect his base. However, the third fidayeen terrorist managed to flee the spot.
The 26-year-old soldier was on sentry duty when the gunbattle started. He hails from Arrah in Bihar and has been in service for eight years.
Rishi, a housekeeper of 155 field regiment, was initially hit on his head but was saved, thanks to his patka (head gear). This Naik saved the day for the Indian Army.
Three soldiers were killed and five injured when militants attacked an Army camp in Chokibal area of Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir early on Thursday.
Sources said the search for the third terrorist is still on. The militants are suspected to be from Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed.
