New firm to impart soft skills

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a bid to overcome the dismal performance of students of the state in group discussions and interviews,   Gokulam Group has decided to start   ‘Sree Gokulam Campus Recruitment Service Private Limited’  which will impart latest training in soft skills to students.  The new venture with Gokulam Gopalan as chairman will start  study centres in Thiruvananthapuram, Chengannur,  Muvattupuzha, Guruvayur and Vatakara.  The  launch of the corporate office  will be done by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri at Kowdiar Heera Palace on August 31 at 10.30 am.  S V Subhash, who had  earlier worked with several national and international banks, will be company’s managing director. A team led by Lakshmi Raj as  head certificate  trainer, will guide the students. Those  appearing for the short-term orientation and skill moulding course will be recruited by the companies which had entered in to a tie-up with the new firm.
