HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samithi floor leader Etela Rajender on Monday said his party was prepared for a CBI probe into the allegations that it had compromised on the T agitation in return for Indira Sagar Project contract.Speaking on the no-confidence motion moved by the Telugu Desam Party in the Assembly, Rajender said it was unfortunate that such allegations were made against the TRS leaders at a time when they had been agitating against construction of the Polavaram project.Rajender said his party was supporting Chandrababu Naidu’s no-trust motion because the Congress government did incalculable damage to the Telangana movement.After including the Telangana issue in its election manifesto, the Congress had let down the people of the region by denying them a separate state.“But the Congress and TDP which included the T issue in their manifestos, conveniently forgot it after the elections,” he said.
