HYDERABAD: Do you dream of a day when your ideas could be translated into money-spinning entrepreneurial ventures? Or rather, seen your dreams crumble mid-way due to lack of technical and professional know-how? If yes is your answer, worry not. The Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of Andhra Pradesh (ALEAP) is organising a one-day open programme for budding student entrepreneurs on Wednesday at its industrial estate near the JNTU. Right from conceptualisation to financing and marketing of a business idea, the event will help set your basics right, before you step into the field of start-ups and entrepreneurship. “Having trained more than 13,000 women over 15 years, and built two industrial parks for women entrepreneurs in the MSME segment, ALEAP aims to equip potential student entrepreneurs to set up units in manufacturing, food processing, IT or any other segment through this year’s programme. Awareness talks, panel discussions, motivational talks and useful interactions with industry and banking authorities will be the highlights of the same,” said Rama Devi, president, ALEAP. Participants also get to interact with successful women entrepreneurs who utilised the services of ALEAP.The programme will be conducted under the aegis of its sister organisation, Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED), in association with GIZ- a German organisation that seeks to improve capacity building in women’s associations of SAARC countries.
