Swami Agniveshs campaign

KOCHI: Social activist Swami Agnivesh is launching a state-level campaign of the Anti Corruption People’s Movement (ACPM), Kerala, on Friday. The movement is being launched for the Jan Lokpal and a corruption-free Kerala, at TDM Hall at 9 am. Justice V R Krishna Iyer will deliver the valedictory address. Anti-Corruption People’s Movement chairman P C Cyriac will preside over the function.    Justice P K Shamsuddin, Justice M R Hariharan Nair, Prof M K Sanu, Prof Mathew Paily, Leela Menon, Alphonse Kannanthanam and C R Neelakandan will also take part in the launching ceremony. “The attempt by the Anti-Corruption People’s Movement is to support the fight by Gandhian Anna Hazare for introduction of Jan Lokpal and inclusion of the Prime Minister under the purview of the bill,” said the officials of ACPM.
