HYDERABAD: Members of the Telangana Joint Action Committee of Teachers (TJACT) on Friday demanded withdrawal of all cases filed against employees, teachers, students and other agitators involved in the Telangana movement.They urged home minister P Sabita Reddy to lead the movement.TJACT chai rman A Anantha Ramulu and secretary- general G Harshavardhan Reddy, in a representation to the home mini s te r , condemned booking of false cases against those who participated in rasta roko, rail roko, bandhs and other programmes organised as part of the Sakala Janula Samme.“Frustrated over central government’s indecision, about 700 persons committed suicide. Incidents of police harassment and booking of false cases against the agitators have increased in recent times. Hence the demand for withdrawal of all cases filed against the agitators who included teachers, employees, workers, students and other Telanganites,’’ the representation said.
