This Rakshabandhan is going to be very special for the residents of Delhi-NCR. Because the dream of the people of Delhi to buy their own house might come true. Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is going to launch 15,000 flats under three schemes on August 19 on the day of Rakshabandhan.
The initiative aims to provide 15,000 flats across various locations in Delhi, catering to a broad spectrum of income groups. The first scheme, named the DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme, is targeted at low-income groups (LIG) and economically weaker sections (EWS). Flats in this category will be available starting at Rs 11.5 lakh.
These budget-friendly homes will be located in Ramgarh Colony, Sirsapur, Rohini, Loknayak Puram, and Narela. The allotment for this scheme will be handled on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis while for one scheme there will be e-auction.
Middle-Class Housing Scheme:
The second scheme is designed for middle-class families, offering a range of housing options including High Income Group (HIG), Medium Income Group (MIG), LIG, and EWS flats. These properties will be available in Jasona, Loknayakpuram, and Narela, with prices beginning at Rs 29 lakh. This scheme also follows the ‘first come, first serve’ principle.
Premium Housing Scheme:
The third scheme introduces a more premium segment with flats priced starting from Rs 1 crore 28 lakh. This scheme will employ an e-auction process, allowing prospective buyers to place bids. Available properties will include MIG, HIG, and high-class flats, located in different sectors of Dwarka 14, 16B, and 19B.
The application process for the affordable and middle-class schemes will commence promptly on August 19, while the e-auction for the premium scheme will follow a separate schedule. This launch is expected to be a significant opportunity for many residents of Delhi-NCR to own a home, aligning with the festive spirit of Rakshabandhan.
