Darshan And His Aides Gave Electric Shock To Renukaswamy, Kept Body In Security Room

Actor Darshan is being probed for his alleged connection to the Renuka Swamy murder case. Renukaswamy was found dead at Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru on June 8, 2024. He used to reportedly work at an Apollo Pharmacy branch in Chitradurga. Reportedly, Renuka used to send vulgar messages to Kannada actress Pavithra Gowad, a friend of Darshan. Angry about this, Renuka Swamy was murdered and his dead body was allegedly thrown in a canal at Kamaksshipalya, Bengaluru in front of Darshan.

And now, shocking details have emerged from the investigation. As per CNN-News18, “The body was kept in the security room in the shed. So far, around 118 materials have been seized by the police, which includes vehicle, objects used to hit Renukaswamy. There’s an electric shock angle also that’s also come to light. Electric shock was used to torture Renukaswamy by one of the accused perpetrators. An electrical insulation device was used to administer electric shock to the victim. Gold jewellery and a watch were also stolen from the victim’s body after his death. The police have conducted spot investigation in almost 14 locations in Bengaluru where the murder took place at the shed, also at the residence of Pavitra Gowda.”

Previously, Karnataka police officials also claimed that Renuka Swamy was beaten with sticks by Darshan and his aides, who then allegedly threw him against the wall, which led to his death. “It was Pavithra who instigated Darshan to punish Renukaswamy. Accordingly, the plan was hatched,” sources said.

In another big development in the Renuka Swamy murder case, Kannada actor Darshan’s wife Vijayalakshmi appeared before the Karnataka police on Wednesday, June 19. Previously, she was issued a notice by the police officials to appear before them to record her statement in the case. Reportedly, Vijayalakshmi was questioned regarding Darshan’s shoes which were allegedly used on the day of Renuka Swamy’s murder and were later found at her Bengaluru residence.
