Dhruva Vaayu’s Hit Horror Film, Kalinga, Set For OTT Release This Gandhi Jayanti

Telugu horror film Kalinga, written and directed by Dhruva Vaayu, has been ruling the box office since its release at the cinema halls on September 13. Dhruva has also played the lead role in this film. Now, Kalinga is all set for its online streaming as well, on the OTT platform Aha. Aha has shared the poster of this film, showing Dhruva holding a weapon and a torchfire. The caption reads, “Coming soon on Aha.” As per the reports, this film will be available on the Aha platform on October 2. This film stars Pragya Nayan, Laxman Meesala, Shiju and others in important roles. Produced by Deepthi Kondaveeti and Pruthvi Yadav under Big Hit Productions, Kalinga received accolades from the critics and the audience.

Actor Dhruva has expressed his faith in Kalinga’s success even before the release as well. The film’s pre-release event held in Hyderabad had the actor speak his heart out about the film. “I have made Kalinga with a lot of hard work. All those who enter the theatre will not be disappointed one bit and I guarantee that. The story, performances, and visuals will surely hold your attention.” Speaking further, the actor-director said that Preeti Sundar Kumar has enacted a dream role in the film and will make a mark for sure. The Kalinga actor said that his film has Sanjay (actor Sanjay Krishna) as the main villain and he will stun you all with his crazy performance. He added that Sanjay Krishna is going to be a big name in the days to come.

Apart from Kalinga, Dhruva will next work in the film Hangman, directed by Vihaan. This film stars Rama Rao Jadhav, Brahmaji, Bunny Abiran, Sunny Palle and Yennengee in key roles. Produced by Ajay Mysore Productions and Cholorofylm, this film’s shooting has been wrapped up and is expected to be released in 2024. The details related to Hangamn’s plot have not been divulged to the public.

Dhruva has also played notable roles in the films Kerosene, Check, The Ghazi Attack and Pelli Choopulu. He also served as the writer and director for Kerosene.
