Janhvi Kapoor Has No Place To Run As Fan Catches Her In Lift For Selfie, Video Goes Viral

From making her debut in the 2018 film Dhadak to bagging an opportunity to star opposite Jr NTR in Devara, Janhvi Kapoor has come a long way in her career. She has proved her versatility in films like Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Mili, Good Luck Jerry, and Bawaal. Thanks to her on-screen charisma and adorable expressions, the diva has acquired a devout fanbase. Her admirers are eager to click pictures with the starkid whenever possible. Walking along a similar vein, Janhvi Kapoor was recently caught in a no-escape situation when an excited fan abruptly entered an elevator to click a selfie with the actress.

A video of the incident was dropped on Instagram by a paparazzo account on February 9. “Lucky fan clicks a selfie with Janhvi Kapoor” read the caption. The visual clip captured Janhvi Kapoor inside an elevator. She was dressed in a grey blazer and a similar ensemble underneath. Suddenly, a fan rushed past the people in front of the lift and made his way inside. He pulled out his cell phone and clicked a selfie with the actress. Although Janhvi initially broke into an awkward smile upon the sudden intrusion, she handled the situation quite graciously. The diva complied with the fan’s request and flashed a smile for the click.

Reacting to the video, one user jokingly commented, “With no place to run.” Others dropped multiple red heart emojis, presumably lauding Janhvi Kapoor’s kind gesture towards her fan.

Janhvi Kapoor’s encounter with the too-eager fan happened when the actress attended the special screening of the film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya on February 8. The Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah directorial stars Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles. For the film premiere, Janhvi picked out an all-grey attire that included a strapless corset top and matching flared trousers. She took off her blazer upon entering the screening premises.

Soon after Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’s theatrical release on February 9, movie-goers were taken by surprise at Janhvi Kapoor’s cameo appearance. Reportedly, she plays the role of Shahid Kapoor’s colleague and a robotic engineer in the film.

On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor is geared up for her Telugu debut Devara. Directed by Koratala Siva, the action-thriller also features Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist. Devara will be released on the big screens on April 5.
