Rohman Shawl has opened up about his relationship with Sushmita Sen. The two, who dated in the past, are rumoured to be in a romantic relationship once again. However, Rohman was recently speaking to Instant Bollywood when he stated that they are “good friends” and share a “special bond”.
Roman was asked about his recent appearances with Sushmita when he said, “Voh toh 6 saal se saath mein hai. Isme naya kya hai? (We are together for six years. What’s new to this?)” “We have always been friends and that will always continue. We share something special and that is visible also,” he added.
Interestingly, this comes days after Sushmita Sen appeared on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast and clarified that she is single. “I have no man in my life. I’ve been single for a while. It has been almost two years since I have been single, to be precise since 2021… I am not in a relationship. I have some incredibly wonderful people in my life who are my friends and they are all just waiting for a moment for me to call them and say, ‘Look, I’m pulling the car out, get in the backseat. We’re driving to Goa’,” she said, as quoted by HT.
The former Miss Universe said that she’s taking a break from dating and enjoying it. “I am not even interested in anyone at the moment. It is lovely to take a break because I was in a relationship for almost five years. And that was a long time,” she added.
Sushmita had met Rohman through social media and dated for a long period. However, the couple broke up in December 2021. The actress had once opened up about dating someone with an age difference of 15 years when she told Zoom TV, “I didn’t know that he would turn out to be a very evolved person for someone 15 years younger. Shallows don’t work for me, it has to have depth. It has been beautiful. Me, him, my kids, we make a team.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sushmita Sen was last seen in the final season of her superhit series – Aarya 3. Directed by Ram Madhvani, it is a crime drama which released on Disney+ Hotstar in February, 2023.
