Besides Salman Khan, several others including Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde also attended Amol Kale's funeral.

Salman Khan attended Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) President Amol Kale’s last rites on Wednesday, June 12. In a video that surfaced on social media, the actor was seen arriving for the funeral amid tight security. He was seen dressed in a white shirt and blue jeans as he paid his tributes to Kale.

MCA President Amol Kale passed away due to a cardiac arrest in New York, USA on Monday (June 10). He watched the Indian cricket team in action against arch-rivals Pakistan in the Nassau County Stadium in New York on Sunday. Besides Salman, several others including Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde also attended Kale’s funeral.

Salman Khan has also been making headlines ever since the shooting incident outside his Mumbai residence took place. April this year, gunshots were fired outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra area. Later, it was reported that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is alleged to be behind the attack as the gangster’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the shooting incident via a Facebook post.

While Salman Khan fans raised concerns about the actor’s safety, his security was then upgraded. Earlier, the actor had two PSOs. Now, two commandos, two escort vehicles and 11 cops under the Y+ category security have also been provided to him. Additionally, personnel in the security convoy will carry two automatic guns. Mumbai police is investigating the case.

Recently, the President of the All India Bishnoi Society, Devendra Budiya, also issued a statement and argued that the Bollywood superstar’s apology would be considered if he seeks forgiveness. “If Salman himself apologizes, the Bishnoi society will consider the apology. The mistake was not made by Somy Ali, but it was committed by Salman,” the Bishnoi gang leader told IANS, as quoted by Pinkvilla.

“Therefore, he should propose to the Bishnoi society that he wants to apologize. He should come to the temple and seek forgiveness. He should further take an oath that he will never make such a mistake in the future and will always work to protect wildlife and conserve the environment. If he does this, a decision of the society to forgive him will be considered,” he added.
