The OTT platforms have provided a great stage for all filmmakers to showcase their creativity in front of the global audience. We have seen many films gaining attention after their OTT release despite performing badly at the box office. Audiences can nowadays enjoy their favourite shows and films sitting in the comfort of their home. The recently-released film Krishnamma, starring popular Telugu actor Satyadev Kancharana, is presently streaming on the OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video. Audiences from more than 240 countries will be able to watch the film. The story of the film is set in a town of Vijayawada on the banks of the Krishna River. The story speaks about the life of three orphans named Shiva, Bhadra and Koti. The three young boys grew up together and shared a strong bond. Their life was going smoothly until an unexpected incident took place which created various problems in their lives. Their early lives involved many minor criminal activities. Later, Shiva was arrested and jailed. After he was released he decided to lead an honest life and thus started a printing business. Bhadra and Koti remained involved in criminal activities. They used to smuggle things in order to earn money.
The story takes a twist when Bhadra and Koti find themselves in urgent need of a large amount of money. They decide to execute this last operation before leaving the crime world. The planning if the duo goes wrong which triggers a series of unforeseen challenges and incidents. These incidents acted as a testament to their bonding.
The film was released in the theatres on May 10. Since its release, Krishnamma has been highly praised by fans and critics. Alongside Satyadev Kancharana, the film features Krishna Burugula and Laxman Meesala in the leading roles. The film also stars popular faces like Nanda Gopal, Archana Iyer, Raghu Kunche and Athira Raj. The film is directed by VV Gopala Krishna while the story of the film is penned by Ramesh Eligeti.
