Sun TV is one of the top-rated Tamil channels in India. It airs numerous serials and reality shows which are enjoyed by viewers of all generations. Some of the top serials currently airing on this channel are Anandha Ragam, Sundari, Kayal, Ethirneechal, Anbe Vaa and many others. These are some of the prime-time running serials on the channel. Consistency in grabbing the top spot in the TV industry lies in the constant production of new serials with novel storylines by Sun TV. There are a bunch of new serials which are set to air soon, some are from Monday, April 25.
In such a situation, Sun TV has pushed the time of its two prime-time running serials. These are Iniya and Mr Manaivi. Their new time slot has now been pushed half an hour from their original airing time. It will also be aired for seven days a week.
As per reports, the Iniya serial which used to air at 9:30 pm will now broadcast at 10:00 pm on Sun TV. Mr Manaivi has been pushed from its time of 10:00 pm to 10:30 pm. This move has been expected to be made to cater for the arrival of a new serial, Malli. It will star Nikitha Ramesh in the lead role. It will be broadcast at 9:30 am from Monday to Sunday. Iniya is one of the highly-rated Tamil serials on Sun TV. It stars Alya Manasa and Rishi in the lead roles. It premiered its first episode on December 5, 2022. The serial focuses on the story of a male-chauvinistic cop who marries an open-minded girl named Iniya to teach her a lesson. Forced to tie the wedding knot with the cop, Iniya faces struggles in her life.
Mr Manaivi is another recently released Tamil serial which completed its first year in March. It stars Shabana Shajahan and Pavan Ravindra. The romantic drama focuses on the challenges faced by the couple in their daily life.
