Trisha Krishnan will feature as a lead opposite Salman Khan in The Bull. The film, directed by Vishnuvardhan, is set to be produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. As per a report by the Indian Express, Karan Johar and Salman Khan will collaborate after 25 years. This film is set to be the second Bollywood film of Trisha Krishnan after 2010 film Khatta Meetha, as per media reports. The Bull is expected to hit the theatres during Eid next year. “The movie will depict the harrowing events of the terror attacks in Malé, Maldives, on November 3, 1988, locally referred to as Badi Buraasfathi,” an old statement read.
The report also stated that Salman will undergo a 60-day transformation phase for this film. Trisha Krishnan is also set to make her comeback in the Bollywood film industry after a gap of more than 14 years. In an old interview, she mentioned the reason for not taking up Bollywood offers for such a long time. She said, “Then, I was not ready to shift places to Bombay because that would have been leaving behind too many things and to start all over again and kickstart my career all over again.”
