Sunny Kaushal’s addition to the cast of Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba promises a more engaging plot. In the upcoming romantic thriller, fans can expect a roller coaster of emotions with Sunny’s entry as the third person in Rishu Saxena’s (Played by Vikrant Massey) and Rani Kashyap’s (Essayed by Taapsee Pannu) life. Ahead of the film’s release on August 9, Sunny has sent a “collaboration request” to Taapsee Pannu. Wondering what are we talking about? On Sunday, the actor posted a clip on his Instagram Stories wherein he had a sweet message for Taapsee aka Rani in the upcoming film.
Dressed in his character from Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, Sunny Kaushal can be heard saying in the clip, “Rani ji, I am going to the clinic but I have sent a collaboration request to you. Please accept my request on Instagram and in real life. Your Abhimanyu.” FYI, Abhimanyu is the role played by Sunny in the much-awaited film.
As Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba is just a few days ahead of its release, fans are eagerly waiting for its premiere on Netflix. Headlined by Vikrant Massey and Taapsee Pannu, the film also stars Jimmy Shergill in a pivotal role. Both Sunny and Jimmy are expected to bring more twists and turns in this romantic thriller as Rishu and Rani seek a fresh beginning after what transpired in their life, as shown in its prequel Haseen Dillruba.
The Jayprad Desai directorial is jointly backed by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the production banner of Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series Films.
Sharing tidbits about how his character becomes a part of Rishu and Rani’s story, Sunny Kaushal previously said, “Abhimanyu has nothing to do with Rani and Rishu. He has no idea whatsoever where they come from. He is living in his own small world, has no family and is madly in love with Rani. He is a loner kind of a character, who has sort of given up on life till he meets Rani. That’s when he realises why he is been put on the face of this earth — for her. And that’s how he gets entangled in their story,” as reported by Hindustan Times.
Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba is all set to release on the OTT platform on August 9, 2024.
