Among the standout attendees was actress Surveen Chawla, who captivated everyone in a stunning golden ensemble that beautifully blended traditional and modern elements. A video circulating on social media captured the 40-year-old actress arriving at the venue and interacting with the paps before making her way inside.
For the ELLE India Beauty Awards 2024, Surveen wore a long-sleeved, golden fishtail gown with a turtleneck and a detachable drape sash. She kept her accessories minimal, opting for delicate earrings and a statement maangtika to complete her look. Her wet hairstyle, nicely done nails and understated makeup enhanced her overall appearance at the beauty awards. Surveen’s golden saree-inspired gown is from Norma Kamali’s collection.
Other notable names who attended the ELLE Beauty Awards were Vidya Balan Disha Patani, Sharvari Wagh, Kajol, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kriti Sanon, Abhay Verma, Bobby Deol, Jibraan Khan and Sara Tendulkar.
Speaking of Surveen, a week back, the actress took to her Instagram account to share a series of pictures from her recent trips. From pictures with her kid to stills of herself from scenic locations captured some beautiful moments. Sharing the post, Surveen wrote, “My journal for keeps. Tell me about yours.”
Meanwhile, Surveen impressed her fans with her DIY decor during Ganpati celebrations. She posted a series of pictures, giving everyone a glimpse of the heavenly decorations that she made on her own to worship Lord Ganesha. The actress, dressed in a traditional pink outfit, posed alongside Ganesha’s murti. Sharing the ethereal pictures, she wrote, “Heavens came down on us. Decor—DIY by Yours truly.”
On the work front, Surveen began her career in showbiz with the daily soap Kahin To Hoga. She then landed roles in films like Hate Story 2, Ugly and Parched. Surveen also played a recurring role in the neo-noir crime thriller Sacred Games. The 40-year-old actress was most recently seen in the 2023 crime drama Rana Naidu, acting alongside stars like Venkatesh Daggubati, Rana Daggubati, Gaurav Chopra and others. The series was released on Netflix in March 2023. The Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma-directed series has been renewed for a second season.
