Guwahati: The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) has released its manifesto on Friday. Some of the key issues listed in the manifesto are how to tackle rising prices, illegal immigration and measures to stop it, health sector.
The AGP has released its first list of eight candidates. There are 14 Lok Sabha seats in Assam.
The AGP has refused to get into an alliance with the BJP unlike in 2009. A lot of members including a former AGP president have left the party to join the BJP, which some are saying a clear case of political opportunism.
