New Delhi: Fiza, the "estranged" wife of former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Chand Mohammed, on Friday said she will campaign against his party candidates during the Lok Sabha elections and indicated that she may join politics.
"I will campaign against candidates of Haryana Janhit Congress, the party launched by the family members of Chand Mahammed, in the coming elections to ensure the maximum loss to the party," Fiza alias Anuradha Bali told reporters.
Fiza, the former Deputy Advocate General of Haryana, alleged that Chand "deserted" her coming under the influence of his family members, particularly his father Bhajan Lal and brother Kuldeep Bishnoi.
Fiza also took a swipe at Congress party for not taking action against Chand, who is still a Congress MLA in Haryana Assembly.
"Being a lady and president of the party, Sonia ji should look into my case. She must see what is happening in the party," she said.
Fiza hinted that she may join politics in future. She claimed that many political parties have already asked her to join them.
"But I have not taken any decision on joining any party. I think one should join politics after he or she does some groundwork," she said.
