The Opposition has cornered the government over the economic crisis and falling rupee in Parliament. On Wednesday, the rupee closed at an all-time low of 68.80 versus the US dollar. The rupee is continuing with its free fall and markets are also plunging. BSE Sensex has gone below 18,000 mark and Nifty below 5,400 mark in this month.
Meanehile, the Lok Sabha is likely to discuss Congress Vice President Raghul Gandhi's pet project Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Bill on Thursday. After the passage of the Food Security Bill, the Congress is looking forward to the passage of this Bill in the Monsoon Session.
