TMC's code for polls: Women not to wear lipstick, men not to drink

Kolkata: Live austere until the polls are over, seems to be the Trinamool Congress's mantra ahead of the elections.

The party has issued a diktat to its members, asking women not to wear lipstick and men to abstain from alcohol until the elections are over.

The TMC has not commented on how such directives are going to help the party. More details are awaited.
