Hina Khan stunned everyone when she revealed her diagnosis of stage 3 breast cancer. Since then, she has been undergoing treatment and bravely fighting the disease. Hina frequently updates her followers on Instagram about her treatment journey, sharing insights into the physical and emotional hurdles she faces, including the side effects of chemotherapy.
Recently, Hina’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Ashnoor Kaur, who portrayed her daughter in the daily soap, reacted to the news of her cancer. Talking to ETimes TV, the actress shared that she spoke to Hina. Ashnoor mentioned that she believes that her co-star will bounce back even stronger while emphasising her resilience and strength.
“Yes, of course I and my mom we both spoke to her. She has always been our Sherkhan and one of the strongest women I’ve ever known. She is an inspiration to many, and I’ve experienced that first-hand. From working with her to seeing her go to the Cannes Film Festival. She rocks it everywhere she goes. I really believe with all my heart that like she has battled everything, every hurdle that has come her way, she will definitely emerge from this battle stronger than ever and bounce back very, very soon,” said Ashnoor.
A day back, Hina shared a video on her Instagram account where she was seen doing various exercises, but under her doctor’s advice and trainer’s supervision. Sharing the reel, the actress wrote, “Thousand Reasons may present itself to pull you down every day. But I have a Promise to fulfil for my future self. And I am committed, are you ? PS: This is strictly done under My Doctor’s Advice and Trainers Supervision. Only when my body allows. DUA .”
On June 28, Hina took to her Instagram account to share the news of her cancer diagnosis. She posted two picture notes revealing that she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. “To address the recent rumours, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage Three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I want to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined and truly committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger,” Hina shared in the post.
Soon, her industry colleagues and fans sent their heartfelt wishes for her speedy recovery and promised to stand by her side during this challenging time.
