Without a doubt, graffiti art has experienced a rise in popularity and recognition in recent years, finding its way into the limelight more than ever before. This art is no longer solely associated with vandalised buildings and passages; it is now used by communities to beautify neighbourhoods and empower residents through artistic expressions. In one such bid to beautify an unfinished downtown, a dozen graffiti artists took upon themselves and painted the boring walls of the highest building in Los Angeles, the Skyscraper, in vibrant colours and bold graffiti art.
The building has abstract designs that span multiple floors, with each masterpiece designed in such a way that it tells a unique story. The clip of the mesmerising graffiti art was shared online on the photo sharing site Instagram by user Julian Soley, and social media users are in awe of the art.
Have a look at the breathtaking art here:

Needless to say, the post struck all the right chords with viewers online. In just three days, it has pulled in more than 7,64,000 views and the number is still increasing. The internet community also flooded the comments section with a barrage of reactions as they couldn’t hold back but heap praise on the graffiti artists who did the breathtaking art on Skyscraper. Calling the building beautiful, many expressed that the people deserve a graffiti award for this.
An Instagram user wrote, “This is really beautiful. Better than blank grey walls.”
“Nah! They deserve a graffiti award for this,” suggested another.
A user commented, “Great work with the drone shots. Shit looks epic!!”
“The time, planning, logistics, supplies, talent—this mural is worth millions, honestly,” an account remarked.
Awe-struck by the graffiti art, an individual added, “That’s the most beautiful building I’ve ever seen.”
Another expressed, “If the building owner is smart, they would keep it. It’s a historical landmark now!”
Meanwhile, Los Angeles police arrested two people this week in connection with the graffiti art that covered nearly 30 floors of an unoccupied and unfurnished downtown skyscraper. As reported by The Guardian, the Los Angeles police department said in a statement that its air support division spotted more than a dozen people trespassing in the building after midnight on January 30 and “possibly spray-painting.” By the time officers arrived, the group had fled, except for two people who police had arrested on a trespassing charge.
