Internet In Awe Of This Elderly Man Trying To Take A Perfect Photo Of Wife
In the comments, many people wished that they also get to have an enriching love life in their old age.

A wholesome video that shows an elderly couple out on a date in a restaurant is melting hearts online. The video shows an old man trying to take the perfect picture of his partner who is seated, while the old man gets up and moves out of their booth to take her picture. The man removes condiments and other things kept on the restaurant table to make sure that nothing is obstructing the frame. The woman has a plate in front of her and she smiles brightly while looking into his camera. It is unclear when and where the video was taken. It appears that it was discreetly taken by someone who was watching the sweet moment between the old couple.

Recently a popular Instagram handle shared this video. It soon gathered thousands of likes. The video was captioned, “The way I would’ve jumped up to offer to take the picture of both of them.” In the comments, many people wished that they also get to have an enriching love life in their old age. An Instagram user wished, “May we all have a love like this that lasts a lifetime.” Another person hoped, “One day I will be doing this.” An Instagram user wondered, “That’s so sweet and wish I’d been there to take a shot of the two of them….God bless the pair of them but the person that ran the reel….did they not offer??”

While the above-mentioned video mostly received positive comments, similar videos that capture strangers without their consent are often criticised for invasion of privacy.

Recently, YouTuber Kritika Khurana was criticised for sharing a video of a stranger on her Instagram story. The clip showed a woman bidding farewell to a loved one at the airport. Khurana shared the unknown woman’s video with her 1.8 million Instagram followers, and wrote, “I love people watching at the airport or train station—the raw emotions when they say goodbye are so powerful. It’s really moving to see them bid goodbye.” The video was reportedly taken at Paris airport.

A Reddit user posted the aforementioned video and criticised Khurana and other influencers for recording strangers without their consent, all in the name of making ‘content’. The user wrote, “I really wish and hope someone does take legal action on these influencers who think they can shoot and upload anyone as content, done with this, have started to check everywhere around when I step out to check if anyone is recording something, its hell.”
